the battle itself isnt broken, since this link here works well:

oh yeah you're right, that's why. MainScreen doesn't work for any major that i've hosted, either.

it only breaks if you are the host (or sysop)

this is a vestigial entry point from the old XHB engine

...so if you're the host it calls a "build participant method" method that only belongs to XHB objects and dies if its non-xhb battle
