ok, so this doesn't work the way i thought it did
apparently all botbrs' boons are cached in some arbitrary way that doesn't make sense to current me
so i removed the taxes from everyone's boons, but whenever a botbr gets some boons or nubs the cached_boons are overwriting the boons
which means i need to write a script to undo the taxes
and also remove this stupid useless boon abstraction layer
