So it's common for merchant encounters to yield no items, but today alone, I got the following encounter THREE times:
A merchant crosses your path -
"I've got nothing, I tell ya."
Which is pretty bad luck. So, suspecting something was broke, I went directly to the Merchant Corner and EVEN THERE, the stock was empty with the following message:
A merchant crosses your path -
"It wasn't your fault."
I don't know what's going on here. I assume some buggy SQL interaction put text from elsewhere on the site into the shop dialogue and bugged out the item menu. I did a localhost mirror to see what would happen if I ran the shopkeep dialogue with a blank item menu, and the result was just plain weird:
It wasn't your fault. It wasn't your fault. It wasn't your fault."
So the shop itself isn't the problem, it's something to do with how it fetches the merchant dialogue. I can tell it shouldn't be doing this because I already know it wasn't my fault. I wasn't in control. It wasn't me. AFAIK the shop hasn't changed since 2013, so what gives?
