More a suggestion than a request, I thought it would be cool to know who offers to render tunes with actual hardware. BotBrs might add in their profile which machines they can use to render entries, so that when BotBrs want a HW render of their entries they know who they can ask. there could even be a list of HW render requests but that may be overkill, maybe I'm the only one interested in this feature :P
Anyway, feel free to ask me if you want a HW sndh render :)

Ooh great idea! I have a few hardwares I can probably contribute renders for:

- Sega Genesis/Sega Master System (Model 1, VA6 I think)
- 6581/8580 SID (NTSC only though, maybe one day I'll finally PAL mod it...)
- NES (no expansion audio yet)

Would like to expand the selection at some point in the future but that's what I've got for now, feel free to ask me for HW renders too :)

I almost qualify for being able to make SPC hardware renders thanks to a recently acquired SD2SNES and an original, recently retrieved SNES. Plus, I have a Windows laptop for a portable way of acquiring the audio. A couple of factors prevent this from being of a good quality, though, and thus I am not willing to provide my services at this time...
- I am missing my multi-out cable. This is the most major factor for me being unable to make any renders at the moment, as this could theoretically give me a way to directly record something without having to hijack the audio elsewhere. In the PS2's case when I rendered off of it, I hijacked the audio.
- The Sharp CRT TV I have it hooked up to (RF output and all) has one speaker out of commission, and thus does not play it in stereo. This makes microphone renders impractical. It's even more impractical anyways due to CRT-related noise.

I can record your ST tune like YQN, but with extra dirty gross sound quality.

Also I can render your 1x SAP in case you don't like Zlew.

i can render stuff for:
-Mega Drive (model 1 VA5);
-Master System (with the aforementioned Mega Drive);
-SNES;
-SC-55 (for midi, but it might be illegal since mp3 entries should be GM.DLS iirc)

I can render the following:
- Game Boy
- PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16
- *maybe* Genesis/MegaDrive (I have an Everdrive but not sure where my actual Genesis is since I use an Analogue Mega SG)

Okay, I can offer DMG GameBoy and two flavors of GameBoy Advance SP (both without stereo) - red and blue one. Idk about sound differences but their hardware is somehow different..
Also, I can render your midis on my GLORIOUS Yamaha PSR-500M

i've finally got a nice setup for rendering adlib things (opl2 or opl3), so let me know if you want hardware renders of any adlib things. i'm using SudoMaker's RetroWave OPL3 which eliminates the need for old problematic hardware like i had to deal with before. i can render anything through DOS (using dosbox-x) and mptm using the vgm output patch (just make sure it's under 18 channels and only uses adlib instruments).

also i see that funute has written a nice article in the lyceum: https://battleofthebits.com/lyceum/View/Hardware+Rendering/
so add yourself there if you have hardware and are willing to render!!
