I implore you, PLEASE implement a way to remove a favourite...

I simply can't easily listen to my favourites playlist without a bunch of unwanted accidental or automated favourites.

PLEASE. I just want to be able to clean up my favs!

I'd bet it's going to be a bit tricky since if you were to unfavorite a song, then (maybe unintentionally or not) favoriting it again will give the user more points/boons, so the dev might need to work on disabling that too.

I feel like the auto-favorite thing needs to increase its frequency of replaying up to 10 or something, I dunno.

(iirc favorites are based on 5 personal plays or more; favoriting manually just artificially adds 5 to your play count)

a better solution would be to add custom playlist support. favorites should be a sign of appreciation rather than an "add to playlist" button (and autofaving yourself just means you appreciate yourself...no harm in that)

The autofavs kind of belong to the quirkiness that makes BotB so lovable and unique. I hate them, but I wouldn't want to get rid of them.

Easy fix for n00bs:
1. Donload song-dongs you liek a lot. Leave a Fav if you feel like doing so.

2. Use a music playback software of your choosing and create a playlist of the songs you donloaded.

3. Press Play

autofav lets us know who is boosting playcounts :F

I have a habit of listening to my own stuff fairly frequently after uploading, as sort of a self evaluation I guess, making sure everything's alright.

yeah sorry unfaving will never happen on this website just download ur stuff and edit the playlist however you want. everybody raise your hand if you ever listen through your favorites regularly

this system doesn't seem to account the fact that our tastes in music change over time as well. we don't have to like something today we did weeks/months/years ago. so yeah srsly don't use botb for listening to playlists

Why don't we add thread favorites, that way, every time you view a thread 5+ times it is automatically added to your favorites and you can't remove it
