Although the change was necessary because Google deprecated the old API, the way search currently works is extremely botchy, for lack of a better word:

Some better way of laying out the results would be most appreciated -- even the dreaded lightbox was slightly better, though a "neither" solution is ideal of course.

Not a high-priority item I suppose (after all we can use google with site:battleofthebits.com), but it's worth recording for the backlog at least.

While it's true that the search is not very useful right now, I don't think I've ever used it before.
