Track 1 - Fields (Preview

This is a little introduction track that's comparatively simple than the first intro track that I did when I tried writing the album last year. It keeps the same key that I used for Stardust Rings but replaces it with an entirely new composition, signifying a fresh restart into this project that I've done for 3 years before.

I kind of made this track somewhat more ambitious than I needed it to be (just look at the project time), considering the fact that I finished this on what should've been my third day of production. There might be some bumpy parts in the full song, but I hope my efforts were worth all of the trouble.

Track 3 - Mechanical Flower (Preview

After scrapping this track about 3 times, I finally got a nice kind-of old azuracore type of track laid down. I gave this song a few gear shifts near the end and also did plenty of experimentation with the panning on some of the notes, so hopefully that widens things up a bit.

Hopefully the drum arrangements aren't too sparse :o

Track 4 - Clockwork Hymn for Sunset (Preview

In a wild pinch for ideas, I somehow ended up with a chorale-ish piece that has minimal instrumentation and is relatively short. Admittedly, this is probably not one of the best pieces that I've made for this album, and I think this might've been a bit too short for my personal taste, but the show must go on, and I need to get back on schedule fast.

That being said, this song will also be known as "that short transitional song that transitions into the next song." I thought of this idea as I was thinking of ideas for the 5th track.

Track 5 - Chill in the Night (Preview

It always seems to be tracks 4 and 5 where I have the most issues trying to come up with ideas. Nevermind the fact that it's Saturday and I just finished the 5th track just now. It took me a little while to try and find a decent progression that I wanted to go forward with, but I finally managed to find it. Somehow, I ended up going with a sort of trip-hoppy rhythm, and I may or may not have cut a few corners with making this track (namely the fact that the song only has one "chorus" section).

Now to focus my energy on the last couple of tracks. Harutopia releases tomorrow night.

Track 6 - ハルトピア ~Utopia of Spring~ (Preview

The second to last track. I kinda went a bit overboard with some of the instrumentation, considering that this is probably one of the busiest tracks on the album (and also the fastest). Even so, I'm kinda proud of how it turned out, even if some of the instruments do clash with each other a bit in some parts.

I should note something about these Soundcloud previews: what you hear in the preview may differ from the final release. There are some moments where I end up revising the song after I post the preview.
