Aaaa this is so good that I have to take time to comment on this~

As mentioned during synclisten, all the lines feel like they fit naturally (even on the 5/8 part, it doesn't feel forced at all), and the sound design is just excellent.

That medium-sized "beautiful" tag is well-deserved here ^_^

(Also I kind of don't believe you when you say you're not familiar with Mitsuda's work, cause I totally feel that Chrono Trigger vibe ;) -- this ol' track from Chrono Resurrection
comes to mind mostly)

I decided to leave in a few of the unused patterns after all because I thought it might be interesting. You'll need the soundfonts SGM-V2.01 and Mixcraft in order to load it properly.

At around 0:49 in my entry, I used a very similar chord progression to the one at 0:11 of the video I linked. I think this is probably (at least partially) why my song sounded Chrono Trigger-y (I swear it was completely unintentional though, haha).
