As much as I love this tune, the rules say you're not allowed to enter music written for past competitions. You already entered this to the FCM9 exhibition. ( 'n')

EDIT: I should clarify - I don't want this to be DQ'd, but I'm wondering if the rule shouldn't be made clearer as to whether it refers to past BotB compos specifically, or if non-competition events (such as the Famicompo exhibition), albums etc. count as well. This looks like a grey area to me.

I could have theoretically done one of my SNES All-Stars or SNES RPG tunes (which were previously released, but they were never SNES authentic in the first place), attempted to make it SNES compatible (even if jam-packed), and perhaps had a possible entry. But to me, I'd rather specially create my songs for Battle of the Bits.

The exhibition isn't actually a competition, and he added to it for WC8. I don't see much of a problem.

If I made something like this in in-between time, I'd want to share it somewhere too. Accidents happen.
