This time, I feel more prepared, now that I've heard some examples. I'll give Renoise a shot and see what type of mayhem I can produce. ^_^ That will help me get around the fact that I normally can't produce a good simulation of a distorted guitar with Schism Tracker.

(Hint: see Furby's Rock 'n Roll from Spring Tracks II: that's a hint of what I could do with Renoise)

I've got to convince myself to actually WRITE this song which I haven't properly formed in my mind, but I have a setup where I can get an overdriven uke (SunVox w/ HI GAIN AMP metamodule) happening via my mic.

For bass, however, I'll need to grab a small-to-big or big-to-small audio converter.

As I have a mic, drums should be doable.
