Anyone interested in curating 4/5 botb artists for 2015's weekly treats? It would have to be ones not used before (Fearofdark, Kulor, Kommisar and Rushjet1 have already been used), but there are many artists that are worth showcasing from here that don't appear much anywhere else.

I have an actual Weekly Treats entry that I produced in case I won the ucollective contest with my Summer Chip II BOTB SNES entry (I didn't). Therefore, I'm available for Weekly Treats.

I would like to be on teh weekly treats. I'm actually on the same boat as KungFuFurby! :) My track for ucollective didn't win either, hah.

Weekly Treats is a project put together by Alex Kelly of Pxl-bot and Andrew Kilpatrick of The Waveform Generators. A brand new track is released each week by a different chip artist, for a total of 52 new tracks by 52 separate artists.

Edit: Oh, CURATOR. Well, then that nullifies what I had written earlier.

I'd think that somebody who has ownership over Battle of the Bits would likely be the curator (in other words, puke), or at least would be able to bestow that privilege to another member of the website. Perhaps this has already been discussed.

I will take this opportunity to mark my interest in that, though! I would love to curate if given the opportunity, and I'd love to represent the community by offering a song, as well. :)

I'm willing to do anything that this entails, either curating a BotB thing or being On The List. Just puttin that out there. Kinda feels like it's not my call to make, idk!

Someone should step up as ambassador for BotB in this endeavor.

Forgive my silliness, but I'm still somewhat confuzzled on whether or not the call is for a BotB guy to -pick- BotB tunes (a "curator" I suppose) or for artists to nominate their stuff. A lot of the posts in this thread look as if they're about two different things.

Either way, I'd normally love to take the opportunity to get involved a bit more, but I'm still a super-new / relatively obscure BotBr and I've been bogged down with enough busy-stuff recently that I certainly wouldn't be the ideal choice for anything ambassador-ish.

tl;dr: I'd love to help, but I dunno how best to. D:
