I also like to thank roz & kilowatt for hosting this major! This was the first botb grandprix for me and I agree, seems to be my favourite battle format. Way easier for me to get into new formats with a single three day focus. Def not as overwhelming as Summer & Winterchip on me, but this will prolly fade with time.
Sunvox, pxcollab and Bambootracker are three tools I learned more about for The Planets and made my first stumblings with them in the major. Bambootracker was prolly my favourite of all the software I took for a first ride.
The major also created some still sustaining momentum, so I'm still working on some other things, which I'm happy about.
Content with my work for the most part, yet I realized my time's not efficiently distributed when working on music. Jupiter & Earth would've had the potential to be a lot better if I had kept em short & simple. I grow too attached to sections I write or think up & weirdness & experimentation always sneak back in, given enough time.
Not sure if my results are fit enough for a release. Definitely not without editing and cutting at least the longcats a great deal, but it's all spread apart anyways in terms of genre. However, I've learned A TON 🌺 and that is the most important for me~
Looking forward to complete voting soon and listen to all the fine releases coming from this major. Already I've heard so much great music from everyone!!
