Not to put words in OP’s mouth but I would guess this is not as useful for privacy so much as to avoid burfday comments for cases where someone prefer to not see those (or to be aware of the lack thereof). That’s one thought, anyway. From that standpoint it seems like a fairly reasonable request although I don’t know how complicated it would be to change this up. We are already allow for some “privacy” like hiding avatars, etc.

well, in that case you can ask for your acc to get banned if you don't want to show up in the burfday list anymore. that way you also don't have to deal with the damn community and their damn positivity anymore ! c:

agree with above, especially since burfdays (join dates) aren't really sensitive information and if you don't want burfday wishes you can just...put that in your bio
