I never used the tool but according to their website, hUGETracker can export .gb ROMs. So I guess the only advantage of submitting .uge is the fact you can open the song in the tracker, which is always good when you want so see how it's made!
On the other hand, the GameBoy format already has a lot of admitted file types... Having .uge would mean everyone would need to install hUGETracker on their system for playback during XHBs (and for majors if you prefer to listen to the original submission instead of the .mp3 render).
I guess the best choice is not to allow .uge, unless a lot of people actually use hUGETracker for their entries.
