hi i'd like to counteract the life rant by saying the following:

in the beginning, you will be bad. it's unavoidable.
BUT...you will learn to get better.

maybe you'll pick up things from other, more knowledgeable people than you.
maybe you'll study previous works like they're books.
maybe you'll read actual books on topics such as music theory, harmonics, polyrhythms, and so on.
maybe you'll brute force your way to bangers.
whichever way you want to do it, you will get better.

and even if you don't, even if you remain bad at music forever (which is logically impossible), you still have people here.
people that will get annoyed at you, sure, but people who still care.
i don't know if you'd call them friends, but they sure are people.
