here's how it works.

botbrs who can score 30 points or more in audio-based XHBs,
three (3) times in a row, are awarded one (1) Melon. additional Melons are gained at 5, 7, and finally 10 entries that meet these criteria. for example, one is said to be on a 2 Melon run after getting 30pts 5 times.

at two melons, i will award you 200 boons.
at three melons, i will award you 300 boons.
at four (an astounding and unprecedented achievement), an additional 1000.. and the Yummy Melon, a permanent trophy recognizing your streak of unparallel'd excellence, one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon an individual in the entire universe. you can only have one of these, and on receiving it, you are no longer eligible to earn melons.

the system is named in honor of botbr MelonadeM, who i've witnessed do some pretty consistent high scoring. indeed, you have to have your shit together in a real way to produce entries that beg to be voted, on average, 6 out of 7. therein lies the challenge behind this, the ultimate challenge mode. it is not a recommended quest to embark upon unless you have nerves of steel and the golden touch. indeed, it may need to be adjusted to be completable by humans.

i would like to make the challenge more interesting by opting out of it and let others try, and in doing so i will bestow 2000 boons to anyone who manages to get a streak of 5 (five), entirely out of my own pocket, and also the award of a golden yummy melon......

i think the rule for only recognizing audio-only and only after the thread was posted is kinda dumb, thats why i will post my success here anyway. i dont care about the boon rewards.

kleeder, look at all these straight 30s. i don't think score-based reward systems can work when most battles have so few people.. i'd have to adjust it.. hm.

i am discontinuing the yummy melon achievement system. dami has the only valid one for the rest of time and will be receiving a special trophy once i make one.

this experience will come in handy, should i devise a newer, better challenge mode..
