the scheduling feature is great, i think it would just be nice to have the ability to cancel/reschedule battles if something comes up.

not sure about this one. i bet people often set aside time based on an upcoming ohb and would be miffed if it suddenly disappeared. i think having to be sure you can host before you declare the battle is a better idea than launching a maybe-battle and ditching it halfway through.

maybe an "auto-result" feature would be a good compromise? i.e. if you realize you aint gonna be able to close a battle or w/e then you can set it to automatically close some time after submission ends and maybe have irc/discord bot announce it in chat as if they were a host (as opposed to asking an admin to do the same thing)

serious comment: i dont think this should be a feature, but if it gets implemented, you shouldnt get your boons back for canceling a battle

I know one thing for sure: if there was a cancel button you wouldn't get your boon deposit back for using it.

Adjusting the time it starts might be ok by a certain amount. I definitely need a tool to help me do that when needed. Doing maths on unix timestamps sucks.

Besides that, the XHBs should autoclose 24 hours after the entry period ends. TBH I don't remember what happens if we actually let that happen :shrug: ...and that boon deposit should not be returned if the host doesn't close the battle!

if no one's actually tested "not closing an xhb after 24 hours to let it autoclose" then I'll volunteer since I'm too busy to host anyway

the only time i can recall it happening was an ohb with 0 entries so that wasn't a valid test (though i wonder if that still breaks things)
