just thought about this.
in case a botbr is making a hardware render of an already rendered entry, an admin has to replace it and gets the renderist points.

what if admins, and only if they replace a render, are able to put a botbr name into a field and the renderist points are going to this botbr instead of the admin. feels wrong to get points if i did nothing but taking a file and uploading it here, if someone else had all the work with getting song on console, replaying on console, recording etc etc

In a "security" or logical point of view, I wonder if renderist points should be given twice on the same entry. Because if you can do it twice you can do it 10 times and get points x10? Of course, I speak of theory, I don't think an admin here would do that :)
And another problem/question: should an action be rewarded with points if only an admin can perform that action? Maybe it should be a mighty power, or be non-rewarding, idk.

the renderist points are only given to the last person who uploaded a render. (and only if its not your own entry)
that means that the botbr who gets the points gets overwritten with every new replacement, technically.
my suggestion is a field for admins on the render replacement screen to select another botbr (the one who made the render) to get the points instead. no double points or anything

your other question: render uploading was admin only at first, it can now be done by lvl11+ botbrs, so i dont see the problem here.
apart from that, i do think that performing admin-only actions is helping the page in the same way as other non-admin-only actions, so i dont see why they shouldnt reward points.
if i find an entry with a broken render and decide to replace it by recording a new one, i spent the same amount of time and energy on it like someone else who uploads a render for a new entry. (and i get the same point type). and for every other case, i suggested the select-option

Of course, doing your BotBer fixing an entry should be rewarded, admin or not 😃
