whats a feature release without bugs and additional bugfixes later!
some n00bs, including me, found some weird things that happend after the big update a few minutes ago.
lets try to collect it all so that it can be fixed asap! if you see any weird things that could result in even weirder things if u try to exploit them, pls dont to avoid a mess. thank you!


here are some things i noticed:
- i cant host 4hbs, not sure if thats intentional, but technically i should be able to
- formats are sorted by id, not by name anymore on the begast page
- "Choose wisely..." is displayed two times in the list of formats
- for users between level 17 and 27, the mighty badge changed to an ascended badge and it seems like thats the reason why these users arent able to access the front page

Same as kfaralotte, homepage and alerts page are entirely blank when logged in (on firefox)

hanna got a 10 point, i got a few 4 points. not sure if this is related, but it happend over night

I'm getting 500 errors on the homepage on both Chrome 49.0.2623.112 and Firefox 48.0.2.

yes okay we are aware the homepage isnt accessable for some people, no need to post it over and over again i think

Well, I'd figure I'd indicate the reason why the homepages were blank on my end.

some issues with the hostable format checker for mighty/ascended;
that code has been commented out for the time being

begast page format dropdown is sorted like before for admins and the double Choose Wisely's are gone

the little icon in the forum thread for the current 4hb is still the OHB icon instead of the 4hb (or maybe the xhb) icon.
edit: that seems to be fixed


also:
ohb icons for similar/recent battles are missing
botbrs got 10,4,2 points again (i have some 4 points now)

the tincan shows up for every ohb entry that didn't get a medal...including the ones that didn't get a tincan either. it's normal for majors, though.

trying to avoid another new thread creation: im pretty sure there was amessage on the ohb submit page about anonymity but its missing for quiet a while now. since i dont think anything changed regarding this rule, it would be good to add it back to the submit page and maybe make it bigger this time, so noone can ignore it

A bug Ive encountered is not being able to host battles I dont have a badge for (I have 7+ badges) in Ohbs (also 2 and 4HBs, but Im guessing its intentional in those two cases, considering the additional rules on hosting them)

mariopaint 2hbs are still 30-45 mins even for 2hbs (and i guess it will be the same for 4hbs)

not sure if i want this to be fixed. its kinda funny. but maybe you could block mariopaint from 2hb and 4hb completely? like u did with the battle arts already for ohbs

Oh man, when there was 30 minutes left I was like "the time isn't half up already, is it?"

Did I unexpectedly lose my "pick any format" part as a side effect of the recent bug fixes? I noticed I could only pick formats that I had badges for.

Also, I'll get some understandings about how many hours I can allocate to an XHB later... I only see 1 and 2 for now.

Small bug Ive noticed is that my 4hb entry doesnt appear in my list of entries.

Minor bug: OHB/1HB icon is missing

- <div> class is "botb-icon icons-battles-1hb" but stylesheet/spriteshit defines ".botb-icon.icons-battles-ohb"; pick one :U (or make "1HB" icon)

as opm already said, the 4hb entries are missing from profiles.
and: ajis bronze 4hb trophy is not showing up on the profile

ohb max time is actually 23 hours and 59 mins, not 24 hours.
maybe > instead of >= somewhere in the time check

also gonna add start and end times on the left side of xhb pages

Form is confirmed fixed on my end, as far as having all of them (and 4HBs are also up there).

not sure it's related but ohb trophies icons appear right after major trophies, which wouldn't be a problem if there was always room to display them all, it's just weird when you get the number on a new line like

quick update: it seems like the newest 4hb entries are all showing up in the botbrs entry list. its just a problem with the first 4hb (this one: https://battleofthebits.com/arena/XHB/4856/ )
