You might have noticed I'm giving away the bandcamp income currently to try and help others in need across the globe. I chose UNICEF because they are an international organization and BotB is an inernational community. I'm open to other suggestions for target organizations in the near future. I'll move the message out of the alert box to above/within the Current Battles space some time tomorrow. While it's not fun being stuck at home, I don't think my remote occupation is in any immediate danger. I hope everyone is doing ok.

i'm working from home and not worried about my job so that's about as good as it gets. hoping the US gets some free government cash as i'm caught in the middle of trying to buy a house :P

It took until yesterday to kick out spring break, my kids don't understand why they're home, and I can do without the stores being drained of all useful products.

Otherwise, as long as people keep placing orders and asking questions about them, I have work.

School is now from home as of tomorrow. I'm in my last year of high school so actually this is going to be a massive disturbance. Our end of year exams are uncertain and they determine placements for uni so I'm not worried at all :O

I've been planning for the past year to donate bandcamp monies to some autism charity for Autism Awareness month (April). Not really sure how to proceed at this time tho.

Got an email from bandcamp:

"Last week, we announced that we’re waiving our revenue share this Friday, May 1, to help artists and labels impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. We also want to let you know that we’re doing the same thing again on Friday, June 5 and Friday, July 3, from midnight to midnight PDT on each day."

Honestly, I'd like to keep accumulating support funds, but its starting to get more difficult to track how much it is at this point. We are currently at $345.95 but I have no idea how much bandcamp took out because I am awful at keeping books.

Checking the income via Paypal activity/emails will tell you how much you actually ended up getting!
