With NTRQ, all songs are saved in SAV files. While it has been said by Baldwin himself
that a tool that will convert these SAV into NSFs is planned to be made, it is not known to us when it will be released (I have just asked him this question in the link above).

I would appreciate it if you would temporarily allow SAV files to be submitted for the NSF format so that we can upload our NTRQ songs, until this tool is released.

Some of us have begun to get the hang of NTRQ, only two days into its first release. No doubt, it is a matter of a day(s), or a week or two until we have our first NTRQ OHC, and supporting SAV files for the NSF format would be helpful.

Also, how about we blow that Renoise 2.5 compo out of the water with a NTRQ compo? ;D

alright, I guess. We do this for mario paint songs.
Though, I'm no longer able to run emulators due to high cpu temps....unrelated and offtopic, I need a hammer, and a new computer altogether.

But really, it would seem similar to what we have done previously with mario paint.

EDIT: wooot! I totally misunderstood. sav allowed for nsf category? hmmm. Big maybe, let's wait for the beardy one.

Well, we can't just use the Mario Paint format for NTRQ songs.

Also, the type of SAVs that NTRQ uses is an image of SRAM and not a save state.

It probably should be allowed for now. NTRQ lets you do only things possible in a standard NSF, and until the converter is out [if/when it comes], it really wouldn't be a problem, especially because any idiot here can emulate an NES and stick a SAV file in the right folder.

Soiled Bargains, no no, what anewuser said is that, we gonna use NTRQ as a player with those SAV files (i suppose), and not a tipical nsf player os something like that.

and i dont have the NTRQ :(((((((((.......................
