I am guessing my answer was a bit terse. When designing the lyceum, well, it was way back in the day when I had a huge emphasis on keeping the site's data as small as possible. The only reason page history was implemented at all was because I figured at some point, inevitably, someone would come in and do malicious things to the lyceum. Assuming BotBrs wouldn't have a reason to destroy their own work, I made the decision that saving every single draft to the database was unnecessary. I could try to implement
something like this for tracking diffs between drafts. Or we could start saving every save. Either way, I'm surprised this hasn't been an issue before, or it has and I've forgotten or wasn't aware. Irregardlessly [sic], I am curious how this happened. Is it liek Tolkein writing himself in the corner on LotR and deciding to start from scratch but still needing the old draft for reference?
