So I've been going to stores for the past few years picking up obscure records and discs and been ripping them. Many of these artists have never gained "mainstream" listens; and some of them I have found no record of them existing on the internet. Releases are going to only be from records, discs, and tapes that I've purchased. (I will not be downloading and reuploading music here. Please also do not include your own obscure ripped music in these posts unless sharing it with me first on IRC.)

This is somewhat of a testbed for people to just grab some music and enjoy it and maybe these artists can get some webplay due to the likelihood of life circumstances or no profiting investors.

Music doesn't need to be profitable. ;)

I will be listing the band, the album name, and giving a link to the musical media in 320KBps MP3. I am willing to include archive formats as well if requested. I'm using a "Sync" account to distribute the media. If this becomes mildly successful I'll scan album covers and include other obscure marketing photos/papers/art that came with the original albums on a dedicated hosting platform with regular updates.

This could be a good resource of inspiration for other independent musicians, such as ourselves; and possibly just add some new songs to our playlists. :)

Love you guys and enjoy. Pay respects to the original artists if possible. :)

(Each successive post will continue a link of an album. Feel free to liek/haeit the album post, after giving a fair listen to the tracks, to give a feel of which people like which types of music/albums.)

Edit: I will also be uploading anything and everything that I found to be "interesting;" regardless of my own personal interest in the media. :) This way others with different tastes may find some treasures.

(This is my first attempt at ripping from vinyl. The album is the single used to get 76'ers fans riled up before/during basketball games.)

Edit: Did a remaster using a lowpass filter, some compression, and and some equalizing. Gonna have to get better at the initial ripping process. ;P
