i OHB a lot, so i have quite a few tin cans from that. but a few of my major entries have only gotten tin cans, sometimes 5.

i think it would be neat if there was something like tin cans that you can only get from majors, like aluminum cans or something. i think getting tin cans in a major, especially one as large as winter chip, is a bit of an accomplishment in itself that i think deserves to be recognized on a botbr's profile page. to me it's a different accomplishment than tin canning in an OHC, which don't have more than 7 entries as often.

it's just a thought, i wanted to see what other people thought about it. obviously botb is about the fun, not the accolades, so i'm fine with things staying the way they are.

One thing I could do is put the major tincans up in the trophies and remove them from the OHB tincans count. It might take more time, but it would be cool if all trophiez did the zoom highlight thing for a single entry when you hover on any related to that entry. I don't really know what I feel about this; I personally like all tincans counted at the bottom.

The issue is still open for discussion.

I'm well on my way to 100 tin cans myself. A sizable amount of those tin cans come from majors (to be as exact as possible, I counted 30, meaning one third of those tin cans came from majors).

Spring Tracks 2 gave me the most tin cans for 6 for a multi-format major (that means I entered more than once), while two of my entries came close to a tin can grand slam with 4 (a tin can grand slam means I would have gotten 6 of them).

now "tin can grandslam" sounds like a feature!

Maybe you 'muricans like being able to put 10 cans in a row and the try to shoot holes in them? I know that's why the German friends who visit me like the beercans for as they don't have beer in cans in Germany.

Or if you're having 30 tin cans you can melt it into a robot part (arm, leg, head, one each time) and after collecting all your robot parts you'll need one last tin can that transforms into a glue bottle so you can assemble your robot. With armor! And then you have a real BotB robot!

On the other hand: only old n00bz have many major tincans. New n00bz, if they participate in majors, hardly ever make it in the top 7. So for them it is really difficult to assemble tin cans there.

@n00b to create that image, i used the original tincan as a base. my design for a major can is in fact larger than the original tincan. compare them side-by-side, if you want to.

3xTheme majors only require five for a tin can grand slam, while any battle that incorporates multiple formats (Winter Chip being an example) would have seven for a tin can grand slam. So far, I didn't catch any.
