..well either way I think I only really listen to like 10 songs here on a regular basis so this shouldn't be too hard (famous last words).

i chose songs that meant a lot to me because songs on botb make me feel all sorts of emotions. gosh what a website!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, I don't feel like I'll get a good representative sample since I've only been here a year, but I'll contribute regardless. May as well. :P

Why not just use all time highest scores from all majors?

I feel a bit the same as Xaser; being relatively new here, I would be biased on what songs I feel are best... and going through all the old entries would be such a daunting task given how many entries exist on BotB. x:

newer botbrs will have different perspective than older botbrs and thats ok

I can't make selections now, but I'm sometimes more attracted towards entries that end up being legendarily bad without outright disqualifying themselves. The problem for me is that sometimes, all of the good entries are too much of the same, meaning for me they can actually get boring after a while. That's why I got attracted towards the opposite end of the spectrum over the years: for me, sometimes the worst can turn out to be the most memorable.

it doesn't matter so much if you feel that you don't qualify to have a say if you're are only recently active in the community. most of the botbrs who matter way back in the past aren't active enough to care that you missed them out, if you have not heard their music.

hey if you guys want to brush up on older tunes, did you know that battle of the bits had a bandcamp?

there's a significant chunk of botb history on the bandcamp

so you don't have to do any web archeology to find tunage.

boy, it sure is convenient having that bandcamp
