A
BotBr earns Codist points by creating games or other media (graphics, audio, even applications) using HTML5 or TIC80 (as of October 2018), GB Studio (as of April 2025) or Godot (as of September 2026). A BotBr's
Class will probably become Codist when they have more Codist points than any other point class upon
levelling up.
A Codist is represented with the following icon:
Earning Points
• Five (5) points are awarded for submitting an entry to any code format of a major battle (e.g. a
Game Jam) or a
XHB.
• Several points are awarded according to how well the submission scored in its battle, and how many BotBrs participated in the same major battle.
• One (1) point is awarded for each subsequent donload of a BotBr's code submission.
Losing Points
• Five (5) points are deducted for resubmitting a code before the submission period of a
OHB ends.
