for XHBs entries must be made within the battle period (1-4 hours). for major battles you can enter something you've made before but you can't have published it anywhere else first.
of course once you've posted it to BotB you do whatever else you like with it since all BotB entries get a creative commons license, giving you complete ownership of your work (and also permitting BotB to republish/sell entries so long as the author is always credited).

yw! :) - btw its always all described in the lyceum page of each format - i noticed that also because i'm specially a bit "allergic" of mp3 submissions (specially xhb wildchip, which i mostly avoid - in the context that this website and community has (afaik) a learning by practicing purpose, and "sharing the sources" each other helps us a lot in this whole process )
