i got discord nitro for a week for free for some reason in may and i had a bunch of extra free time so i would watch between 1 and 3 movies on discord with a good friend every night for that whole week and because i had nitro i could use the soundboard with sounds from any server and there was this awesome stinger sound in crazygoji’s server that i would play every time i’d join or leave or go get water or whatever and it became a running bit for that week and then recently i was looking for entries to cover for dd2 and i came across this and it turns out that sound was from this song and it immediately catapulted me back in time two months so i instantly knew i had to cover it. crazy how a short sound byte or a smell or a color or a breeze at a specific temperature can so strongly conjure a seemingly insignificant memory. how bout dat
