yep aha satie is my go-to for public pianing. naturally i was channelling him pretty hard here, in my own desperate way.

ed. in fact iirc that was where i pulled that chord from (this track is actually spliced together from a 20 minute recording of general dicking around, which might have included some satieing)

ed 2. by the way i made some friends last night at the festival i’m at by sitting at a public piano & playing gnossienne no. 1 over & over until some fun people showed up to chat & join in. satie brings people together!
