Here's to another five years of good cooking!
For the longest time I did not know this song was for, or on, Battle of the Bits. I thought farewell.nsf chose to settle down in a small, relatively obscure place with its bittersweet, yet comforting tune. What is such a touching song doing on a site like this?
This happened to be the first song I listened to in 2011. I played it on real hardware within a few hours of the New Year. And 2011 ended up a fantastic, memorable year for me despite my own predictions. But that is not where my memories of this song, with this song, lie...
