[2A03+VRC7] this snowy winter day can't be the last time i'll ever see you

wrote this at the piano this morning and then incorporated other elements around it - was gonna do N163 but decided VRC7 and i think it worked better than i expected it to! :D

rendered from nsfplay, it does play just fine on my famicom, but the high freqs from the dpcm are a bit stronger and they sound too harsh in the final section, so i prefer the emulation! (if you're curious here's a link
to the hardware render for as long as discord preserves it haha)

I'm not sure if it's incidental quantization noise or not, but this has a really nice "scratched up jukebox in long-abandoned roadhouse diner" thing going on in the background that adds to the overall thrust.
