Kind of fun, kind of nostalgic, kind of annoying. Then it switches to a little more fun for a little while. Then I was tired of it. It's best around 1:25 and 2:30 I feel like this could be made into something supergood with more work, more mixing, less time building up, and a nice beat. It's kind of hard to make up my mind about.

I have a love/hate relationship with all of that track bleeding (and what is arguably a deal of dissonance near the end...). Overall it gives me a big warm, yet distorted feeling.

This sounds like an intro to a track that drops the world's largest sidechain kick. I hope you'll use it for something bigger than this compo.

I've listened to this tune a lot of times over the past week...it is one of the most emotionally effective chip-based pieces I've heard. The only disappointment is that it doesn't go anywhere.
I agree with chunter...it needs to drop into something epic.

This was made a long time ago, before I really had any idea of what I was doing with music. I always thought a lot more could be done with it, but figured maybe it was just my own silly attachment.

But thanks for the encouragement! It's definitely going on my list of WIPs. Perhaps I'll have it ready for WC7's Wildcard entry.
