a ray through the neverending blanket of clouds
the winter was too long this year, and much too cold! i was in awe of the snow as it fell and clung onto my scarf yes, but despite this, i wanted to hibernate through the season and only awaken once the days grow longer and warmer.
during class, i often find myself with my hands glued to the heater next to my chair, staring past the teacher and into the grey, grey sky, waiting for the moment a ray would break through that drab and heavy blanket that brings nothing but mud and slipping hazards.
i really don't hate winter at all, i think it's lovely. but can't we move on?
