With the N163 expansion chip, because I love sine waves and 163 is my favorite number.

On the other hand, this doesn't use the DPCM channel, because I couldn't get 0CC-Famitracker to import samples. They just kept coming out silent. Looking back, it seems like I unintentionally avoided using the second pulse channel as well.

The N163 parts don't appear to play back on foobar2000's Game Emu Player, which was somewhat alarming when I test-listened 2 minutes before the deadline, but NSFPlay seems to play it back just fine.

The render fades out after looping.

this is really pretty! the sines are so delicate. not sure what was up with the dpcm import! could have to do with the format of the audio, like bit rate/depth or stereoness, no idea how it interprets those things

Love the warmth of those sine waves. In the absence of percussion the bass line provides a nice rhythm. Love the portamentoing melody.

I also had problems with the game emu player + N163, I think it is not well emulated

the latest stable release of vanilla 0cc had a bug with importing wav samples. the only workaround for that is to use vanilla ft or j0cc or anything newer to import, then go back to your version of choice

Really fun bassline going on there that I think does well to carry the backend even without percussion
