While I'm a little skeptical of pastiche battles based on a particular artist, I really like the idea of one where you get to choose the artist.
Since this is wildchip, is the expectation that one would pick a musician who's worked in chiptunes -- or could it be about adapting the style of a non-chip musician to a chip format?

@Lasertooth - I was thinking of it flexibly in my mind -- adapting the style of any musician you like to any chip (or combination of chips). You could take Nobuo Uematsu
style and do an 8/16 bit chip of some sort aligning to his work, or just do Mozart on AdLib, or System of a Down style on Gameboy, just whatever. Would be fun to see what people throw out there. :)
