This was mostly a project to see how well I could write an easy-to-follow melody since a lot of songs I make have a more sporadic choice of notes in the lead. I think it turned out quite nicely!

I feel ya, I got too caught up in trying to make it sound "classic" that i kinda prevented myself from working more than a bit on the arp.
