A hex editor comes in handy in this particular case... $10100-10200 in the SPC file must be zero, or else some of the sample data won't survive. This particular SPC file has that problem. Here's a bugfixed version with a bit of hex editing magic: https://www.box.com/s/4z634a8d9kweklv2bivu

This particular entry reminds me of mayhem at teh piggy house, which had the same problem.

Oh thanks, man! Yeah, the original module sounds way better. I had to do a lot of drastic changes, so I could convert it to an SPC (leaving away the bass etc.).

My method of squeezing everything in there is to use Alt+E (that's Schism Tracker terminology for resize the sample) and divide the original length by two as long as I have loop points divisible by 32 or more. As long as the sample still sounds acceptable (and you're not getting glitchy loop points during the conversion... that would require some fooling around), it's good. Some samples are a lot more sensitive to quality reduction than others.

Yeah, I was actually already happy that I could even convert it into .spc format. I would have never thought that it would work with this tune.

The stupid thing is, I had to remove the bass, so that I could upload the file.
