I was going to continue with that but I'll just get to the personal notes.
Right, so I had four songs planned for Summer Chip IV but tons of stuff got in the way and this is all I had time for. 12 channels, all of which are used: that's a record for me. Somehow, though, this is my least favorite of my major entries (But I did what I could! Hey, I'm not saying that no one's supposed to like it). Also apparently I really like grace notes.
I wanted to experiment with Latin rhythms but I think I made the least Latin-sounding song possible with them.

Wow, thank you! I really liked your wildchip entry too, by the way. I just used a square wave, triangle wave, noise wave, drum stick sound, and two randomly drawn samples (of length 64) in OpenMPT. (Not the most authentic chiptune, I know; I figured it would be okay if I submitted it as wildchip).
