Guys, I'm not a metal guy, I submitted this while I was just a fresh noob and I said to myself "these guys only do chiptune" so I posted a chiptune in every major I saw.

Which of course turned out to be wrong.

I would have to recompose a whole song to submit here, and I refuse to do a metal with samples, only with an electric guitar, and mine is in an other country, so nothing before August. Sorry. Give me all ones if you wish.

Was the tempo slowing part at 1:16 on purpose btw? It was very subtle. Also just curious, not trying to harp on you at all, I know you said "so I posted a chiptune in every major I saw" but did you not see the title, "metal"? Well, lesson learned anyway! Great track!!

The tempo slow down you heard is actually a copy-paste error ^^ because I'm using the common trick of alternating the song speed to make the track swing, and I had twice the same speed in two consecutive beats, so it sounded slower. But the bpm stayed the same throughout the whole thing!

Regarding the metal controversy, I would also like to add that since the rules are not really restrictive, we could be given the right to interpret "metal" as we wish. I mean, it's art after all ^^ And the image of the compo doesn't really suggest me a metal!
But lesson learned as you say!

Right on, that makes sense haha. I actually like the little glitch because of it's jarring strangeness, but I think it would be cool if you went back and even added a few more glitchy parts even. Anyway, once again I'll say thanks for sharing another cool tune. And thanks for explaining about your reasons to include in the compo, the curiosity was eating at me haha. I can totally understand. I'll tell you this much, I know a lot of metalheads who wouldn't turn this off! In fact they would probably turn it up to 11! ;D
