It's been some time since I've submitted a solo LSDJ track to a major !
I actually started writing this tune a year ago for Winter Chip XX, but I didn't get around to do much progress. I was experimenting with major 7th chords with a diminished 5th, and ended up writing a chord progression featuring them heavily, which ended up as the main hook/chorus for this tune. I wanted to do a fast and upbeat song, with funky chords and melancholic melodies. I also ran out of phrases while working on it, but I was 99.99% done at that point, so I don't think it affects the finished song negatively.
