Timbre (modulator frequency, modulation index, and the degree to which these values are connected with linear and/or discrete interpolations), and most of the large-scale architecture are the primary generative parameters. Register was also partially generative. The patch could be taken a lot further – this was in many ways just a proof-of-concept.
I've done a bit of work with generative melodic and harmonic content in a broadly diatonic context (eg https://soundcloud.com/nob_420/cant-handle-the-chee-highs) if you're interested, but I'm mostly interested in exploring this kind of thing in an atonal/microtonal context.
A bit too high register, and I don't particularly enjoy the instrumentation, but obviously great skill went in to this so I will give it completely fair points :)
