My main goal with this song was to learn how to make FM drums, since I usually just use samples for drums when making genesis music. I also decided to leave three FM channels to be used exclusively for percussion, to force myself to focus on drums since the beginning. And to focus on drums, what would be better than a little samba?!!

I'm glad I managed to finish this song because I've been really demotivated with music for some reason. I made almost no music in the past 5-6 months, even though I wanted to. I also missed a lot of battles that I wanted to join. BUT I feel like I've finally regained my energies while making this song, it was lots of fun from start to finish! I hope that means that this music burnout is gone and I hope to be more active here and keep battling!

that samba whistle was so accurate, btw, i thought it was a sample. Maybe it is and I didn't check the source file. but i believe in miracles (despite it being pretty easy to recreate tonally STILL)
