I saw that some of the other entries included a description of the imaginary race track, so I'll try this as well. I see it as taking place in a pastoral countryside in springtime. Throughout the track, speed power-ups are sprinkled generously. The race starts as a leisurely ride through a winding road, but as the pace picks up you gradually gain the ability to take shortcuts - to plow through hedges, to drive across meadows, to leap from hill to hill.

Another one I faved while voting, but didn't share my thoughts back then. Love the chord stabs and the portamento lead. The amount of percussive samples is rich and the kick drums thump hard! The use of voice samples feels very deliberate. Makes me wanna drive at top speed in a racing game.

the progression works really well here, and it's fun to hear all the instruments participating - the tempo stays the same but everything FEELS so much faster by the final stretch!
