Maybe I should have just done this in Furnace rather than spend the night getting comfortable (or at least not-viscerally-UNcomfortable) with Raster Music Tracker, but I'd much sooner lick sap than lick fur.

Besides, if a Pokey song doesn't sound rough and ugly, is it really a Pokey song? I actually love Pokey songs - the tuning oddities really force composers to get interesting, and the SAP archive is full of incredibly intense aggressive ugly little gems, with far less of the forgettable chiptune filler in between.

the tuning quirks are definitely cool if you lean into them, but frustrating if you already had plans in mind for the harmony lol. good chip percussion in this one!

i appreciate an average entry made in rmt much more than a good one made in furnace.
rmt is a good tool anyway. cool bass stuff
