Chasm Of A Million Dazzling Crystals
Written and recorded on LSDJ 9.4.0 running on BGB emulator.
All samples used come from the default "Linndrum" kit built in LSDJ.
When I began working on the song, my two basic ideas were: 1) To work with lots of major 7 chords because they sound dope and are perfect for a nostalgic wintery vibe 2) To craft an arpeggio with both pulse channels to create some kind of crystalline texture, to evoke good ol' wintery ice.
The song evolved beyond the original ideas, and it retained a nostalgic vibe and "shining" sensation but it also became kind of a chaotic yet epic journey through an ever-changing landscape; I change keys a lot in this one ! And I think the title captures this feeling pretty well.
I hope you like the song, it was not an easy one to work on, but I'm happy with the result. Enjoy !
