SID? yessiree, i gave the SID platform a shot in DefleMask, because i am seriously craving some SID. and let me just say, pretty much any tracker is better than Defle. a lot of SID effects cannot be done here. typical SID PWM is damn near impossible, certain filter effects are all wonky, and the mere thought of trying to use ring mod or sync, ugh *shudder*

DefleMask feels very unfinished and i'm tired of it. in a sense, that's what this song is about. a somewhat unfinished and unpolished song from an unfinished and unpolished tracker.

the SID filter emulation in Defle feels broken, or at least improperly calibrated. the MP3 was created from a WAV render from Defle. i was originally going to use a sidplay2 render for ExTrA aUtHeNtIcItY but the filter bits got screwed up. (though apparently real SID chips each had slightly different filters as well, so, perhaps i'm just being unreasonable.)
