"Star Lighter (スターライター Sutaa Raitaa) is a game developed by and published by Sega. The game was released only in Japan in 2002 as an upright arcade cabinet.
The objective of the main game is to guide the player character (a "galaxy guardian" named Kikira) across a series of environments littered with various dangers. The goal is to reach the star placed across the course and bring it back to the starting point without dying. As the player moves along, a timer will run for one minute. The game is rather simple; the only controls used are a joystick and two buttons; one for jumping, one for action. Expected is that the joystick moves the player character, and the jump button allows the player to jump - if pressed again, a double jump. The other button lets the player flip switches and pick up items, as needed. Items collected throughout the various courses are extra lives, and as found later on in the game, objects that alter time (stopping time, slowing down, etc). If the player is damaged by any hazard, or if the timer reaches zero, the player loses a life."

Hello. I am the creator of this game's soundtrack. The music CD was available for sale back in 2002, with a bonus track that mixed 4 or 5 of the game's tracks into one. A megamix? No, better.
