WARLORE is a tabletop tactics roleplaying game where steel meets sorcery and every decision reshapes the battlefield. Players command armies across two modes: competitive skirmishes or narrative-driven campaigns. With a modular class system, terrain-based strategy, and fatigue-driven combat mechanics, WARLORE rewards clever positioning, bold gambits, and tactical foresight.

Warlore is inspired by the GBA era fire emblem games and old school Dungeons and Dragons.

==========
Making a tactics RPG in 25 days is a little insane, but we had a blast. WARLORE is packed with tense decisions, wild class combos, and the kind of battlefield drama that makes you question your friendships. We hope you enjoy commanding your fate — and maybe yelling at your friends when their marksman lands the 7th crit on you in a row.

Wow, whole dang TTRPG!!?

I am very impressed by the sheer amount of quantity. Very ambitious, and filled with lots of imagination and heart.

Unfortunately I will not have time to playtest this, so I don't know how well balanced it will be in practice, but the rules seem well thought-out and have a lot of room for variation to keep every game new and exciting.

One point that I think could be tricky: the maps with tiles indicated by letters. A cool idea, but I can see it being quite confusing in practice. Perhaps a future update to this game could use actual graphic icons for the tiles.

Another practical issue: I think trying to move tiny pieces of paper around on a small grid could be quite frustrating. One sneeze could ruin your game! But that's more a limitation of the format of this battle having been limited to what you can print out. I would imagine a "real" version of this game would have a larger solid board and weighty pieces.

Anyway, I especially liked the parts of the rules with colorful descriptions. Especially all the class descriptions, the different villages, and the "Boss units". The writing shows a bountiful imagination, and in my opinion is the most interesting part.

Personally I think I would actually prefer a simpler version of the ruleset that leans more into these story-telling aspects, and simplifies the fiddly bits with all the different stats etc...that's just my personal preference though.

Overall impressive work, and I hope you both keep making games!

I made all the graphics on the last day, so I didn't have time to make graphical tiles. Whenever I play DND, I have a dry erase game board I pull out during combat and make maps that way, do I decided to port that idea here for the sake of time.

8.5 x 11 inches is not a lot of room for a 21*21 game board, but somehow I got it to fit. After that, I had to resize all the tokens to fit into the squares.

Thanks, I was planning on making a little mini campaign but didn't really have the time, but I decided to keep the boss lore anyway.

The ruleset could definitely be simpler. My aim with this project was to make a TTRPG that's just as fun to play PVP as collaborative. I may have focused PVP too much.

Yeah, greeble is a fiend
