Why is this message being sent out from my personal email? Because of Dreamhost, our server home of late, has a strict anti-spam policy. Using the PHP mail() function is pointless if the server blocks you from sending out mass emails. This is why most people have not been getting BotB updates in the past. In the next couple days another message will be sent out asking if you would like to join the BotB Announcement List. From this point on all email addresses in the BotB database will be used solely for account registration and forgotten password retrieval.

I tried to start a new thred but I got this "You, psycho wanna poast inda hai-aye all of them, que?". Then it went back to the main screen. I don't know what "You, psycho wanna poast inda hai-aye all of them, que?" means but I think we should do rebirth format comp. .RBS is fun and the program is free now I heard at rebirthmuseum.com

I tried starting a new thread and it went fine. I know what that error message means but have no clue how you got it unless you were hacking around with the URL.

Rebirth for free? Sounds like a fun compo idea. Not totally sure where exactly it will fit into the schedule -- I have talked with the developer of <a href="http://www.10pm.org/nostromo/lgpt/">Little Piggy Tracker</a> about putting a compo together AND not to mention Ann Arbor 6 this fall. Who knows? We might even do Rebirth next -- I've got the time now to really focus on BotB.

So yeah, Rebirth is cool. There was/is a big rebirth community and I was thinking a comp would be a fun way to get more people interested in the site. I bet the chiptune artists can get down with some old 303's and things. Plus it would switch everything up yet again! I was thinking just the standard for now without the mods and all that. Maybe themed, ideas?

No. There was a list of "themes" for BotBrs to vote on. During entry period you could submit a track to each of the top 3 themes. Entrants were supposed to do a different format for each theme.
