I almost ghosted three times. In the original S3XMODIT Mania, I barely started the fifth round entry (a single pattern... yeah...), then got farther along with the final round entry. The final round entry is the most complete one of the bunch (for two minutes of music, and no patterns that aren't connected yet), and I ultimately decided to cash in on the samples (that Super Quality SNES entry in particular is where I put them to good use).
In S3XMODIT Mania 2, I made a few patterns on a Round 4 entry, although I never got to connecting them all. I walked away from the final round pack, not even making a song. For me, the sheer number of samples meant that it was not worth my time. I also walked away from voting figuring that there were just too many similar-sounding entries for me to vote on the final rounds.
